Hi there.
Thank you for taking the time to visit.
I hail from the Sierra Mountains of California but now I live in Japan (near Kyoto) and have been here for 11 years. Wow that crept up on me. I live with my wife and Siberian husky wolf-child. I teach history for my day job, and love being outdoors--whether hiking, doing SUP, or just relaxing under a tree.
Writing is in my blood. Whether that's found in my horror novels or my real-life travel memoirs. My non-fiction has been published in the Japan Times (Japan's largest English newspaper) amongst other online travel sites.
Right now I have one horror fiction available in my "Black Sun" series. This will be a collection of five novels that are thematically connected and take place in the same universe. They all revolve around Japanese folklore and mythology.
